Located in Kiwengwa, 41 km from Peace Memorial Museum, Zanzibella Hotel & SPA provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The hotel, the rooms, and all facilities were absolutely stunning, clean and well maintained. The pool alongside the bar as well as all the amenities on the beach are super pleasant. The breakfast selection is amazing with a lot of choice and variety. It is true there are quite some flies on the outside tables downstairs in the morning, but no problem at all upstairs or inside (and nothing much the hotel or anyone can do about flies in this type of climate and environment!). The restaurant has a great set menu as well as new daily offers every day. The food quality was great. I could recommend to get the half or full board deal as there aren’t a lot of places to go eat around the hotel - and the choice at the hotel is great. The hotel offers multiple guided tours which can be easily booked from one day to another, as well as free bikes and paddle board rentals which we very much enjoyed. They also organize different events / shows every few evenings (African Dancers, Maasai show, local band..) - amazing ! Finally the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, and made the stay so enjoyable until the end! I would absolutely recommend Zanzibella to anyone travelling to Kiwengwa and wanting to enjoy some peaceful relaxing time at the beach :)

Babalao Bungalows has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Nungwi. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a bar. Everything. Max (the host) made my stay very comfortable. The place is a mini paradise, great value for money and so beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. They make delicious food and it's affordable. The rooms are so beautiful and everything works perfectly. It's close to the beach and other attractions are a few minutes away (the turtle marine, horses) This will definitely be my home whenever I visit nungwi. And the wifi is strong, in and outside of the room

Viesnīca Mahali Zanzibar atrodas Pajē, Zanzibārā. Viesiem ir pieejama privāta pludmales zona, visu gadu atvērts āra baseins un bezmaksas bezvadu interneta pieslēgums. The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

Set in Mtende, 35 km from Zanzibar Butterfly Centre, Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Located in Pwani Mchangani, 300 metres from Pwani Mchangani Beach, TIANDE Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Sunny Villa Matemwe has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Matemwe. Great place to stay, staff were very friendly and accomodating. rooms very spacious, nice pool and the food was also very good.

A quiet, peaceful and cozy place. Everything is clean, the room and pool. Breakfast with different pastries, fresh juice different dishes, Big greetings to the staff.

Located in Matemwe, 600 metres from Matemwe Beach, Haber Hotel & SPA provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Brilliant break fast, very good value for money. Excellent place to relax away from the hustle bustle of city life. Spacious and very clean room, bathroom was also very well maintained. Staff were very cordial and friendly the owner too. Emanuel is an excellent person.
